One Kiss chords and progressions
Calvin and Dua‘s One Kiss is essentially built around one chord progression, this one:

Am is chord III, Bbmaj7 is IV, Fmaj7 is I, G7omit3 is II. Completely diatonic.
What’s important is the tiniest details, you must, for example, get the inversions perfect or it won’t sound like One Kiss’ chords, it’ll just sound like some chords. Here’s the main riff using TAB.
Studying these five bars of TAB, and comparing them with the chords and lyrics above, you’ll notice how the bridge says Bb, not Bbmaj7. In the TAB, there is no maj7. Leave that extension to the keyboards.
There is a variation before every chorus tag where we don’t play Am at the end, sometimes there is a rest too, again, use the chords and lyrics for these details.
The chorus tag uses the same chords, but there’s a nice little lick in there, looks like this using TAB.
If you look at the intervals for the 2nd bar, you can see a C triad, the 3rd of the Bb, to a #11. This makes complete sense as Bbmaj7 is chord IV, Lydian.
