Two worldwide smash hits in Crazy and Forget You!

CeeLo Green first had international success with his duo Gnarls Barkley, a project he had with producer Danger Mouse. Together they had a worldwide hit in Crazy. After a few years together they parted ways.

As CeeLo embarked on a solo career, he did a writing session with Bruno Mars and came out with another worldwide hit Forget You, originally called F*ck You, a genius marketing stunt that saw him release the song under three different names.

Just after Forget You, he also released It’s OK, which almost became a big hit. I remember when it came out in 2010, many bands on the circuit picked it up thinking it was gonna be as big as Forget You.

Forget You and Crazy has stuck and become part of the working band’s repertoire, It’s OK never quite made it.

CeeLo Green has also recorded cover versions of Jimi Hendrix’s classic Foxey Lady, and Al Green’s timeless Let’s Stay Together.
