One of the biggest bands in the ’80s!
Tears for Fears is an English pop band that sold more than twenty-two million albums.
With hits like Mad World, Seeds Of Love and Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Tears For Fears was one of the biggest bands around in the ’80s.
With regular releases between 1983 (The Hurting) and 1995 (Raoul And The King Of Spain), the band took a ten-year break before releasing Everybody Loves A Happy Ending which reached #8 on the U.K. charts.
This was in 2004, the year after Gary Jules had a Xmas #1 with his cover version of Mad World, and should have been their last release, at least if you took the title seriously.
However, in 2022, Tears For Fears is yet again back with a new album in The Tipping Point, making them active for almost four decades. Unfortunately, no significant tunes were to be found on it.
