Because I Got High chords

You can learn how to play Because I Got High by Afroman!

Because I Got High is a single released in 2000 by American rapper Afroman.

Initially, the song didn’t gain much traction. But once Howard Stern started playing it on his famous radio show it spread like wildfire.

A year after its initial release, it became the theme song of Jay And Silent Bob Strikes Back, a film similar to 70s stoners Cheech and Chong, making it a worldwide hit.

As the lyrics detail all the negatives of marijuana smoking the singers/rappers simply laugh it all off, perfectly capturing the main feature of the drug – Fuck up, don’t care and find it funny. Because I Got High captures this essence of potheads perfectly.
