The songwriter behind Pink and Christina Aguilera’s biggest hits!
Linda Perry is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and engineer, most famous for her ’92 hit What’s Up, with her band 4 Non Blondes.
If you don’t know the song it’s probably because most people think of it as called What’s Going On.
But Linda is no one-hit-wonder, following her worldwide success with What’s Up, she took on a career as a songwriter and producer and penned more hits like Get The Party Started by Pink (often referred to as I’m Coming Up!).
Perhaps most famously, Linda wrote and produced Beautiful, with Christina Aguilera on vocals.
Apart from these smash hits, Linda has also contributed to works by Adele, Jewel, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Faith Hill, KT Tunstall, Courtney Love, and Dolly Parton.
Not just a writer and producer of her own songs, Linda has also recorded covers of songs such as Creep by Radiohead and Mad World by Tears For Fears.
In 2017, Linda Perry launched a record label/artist management company called We Are Hear.
