Cee Lo Green + Danger Mouse

Sounds like a name doesn’t it? Gnarls Barkley is actually a duo, consisting of Cee Lo Green and producer Danger Mouse.

In 2006, they released the album St Elsewhere, which had the tune Crazy on it.

Crazy would be played on the radio day and night worldwide, as well as find its way onto every covers band’s set list since. It even got voted Song of the Decade by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Following the enormous success of Crazy, the duo went on to record a second album The Odd Couple, released in 2008. No significant singles came from this release and the band broke up.

Cee Lo Green went on to have a solo career releasing a song Bruno Mars wrote for him named Forget You (2010), another worldwide smash hit.

Danger Mouse would go on to work with Adele, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Beck, U2, and Norah Jones.
