Before we move on to Funk Patterns, make sure you can play these final patterns, at a high BPM setting this is tricky!

As mentioned before, it’s a great idea to write more patterns like this your self.

The act of writing and playing your own patterns is unbeatable for improving your rhythmical understanding.

Changing Chords when Practicing Rhythm

Don’t stop developing these exercises, what happens if you play an Am and an F chord instead?

Can you vary the chords and still play the same rhythm?

When you change to playing new chords, do you still stay with the click?

When all this feels really comfortable, move on to ‘Funk Patterns’ and get acquainted with 16th note strumming patterns.
