Advanced Practice Routine

When you can play the arpeggios you’ll see music on a different level!

For successful improvised soloing and melodic writing your hands need to know:

. All chords around the major scale
. All minor pentatonic shapes
. All minor pentatonic modes
. All major pentatonic shapes
. All major pentatonic modes
. All 7th note arpeggio shapes around the major scale shape

In order to try these shapes in a musical context you would need a chord progression to play over.
Either record some yourself or go to S-E jam tracks.

To fully master the guitar you need to take all your pentatonic scales, modes and arpeggios to the Master Routine where you will fully understand how they all connect.
