You Can Learn Guitar!

The practice routines are completely built on the theories of The Guitar Conspiracy and simply applies the basic theoretical rules back to the guitar through self-eliminating exercises.

Keep track of your progression in the Work Book and you will soon see great results in both playing and understanding the guitar.

Practicing guitar is not something you want to do forever, but when you do it, do it efficiently!

Beginner Practice Routine

Starting at Beginner Routine you’ll learn the basic open position chords and that everything else on the guitar is built upon these shapes.

Even if you are an experienced player, do check all this material, for example, can you play an open position Gm chord?

Apart from the basic theory of chords, technical skills are honed with Chromatic Exercises.

We also learn basic chord progression movement, interval training, rhythm and transcription, what chords belong to a key and off course all beginner songs.

Intermediate Practice Routine

In the Intermediate Routine the chromatic exercises become more complicated.

The chords become barred chords and we learn the major and minor pentatonic.

Your main focus on this level should be to see the connection between: Chord – Barred Chord – Chord Number – Pentatonic Scale.

As well as this we get more advanced Ear Training, more rhythm exercises and another 21 songs to learn!

Advanced Practice Routine

In the Advanced Routine we add another two layers with the arpeggios and modes.

Your main focus will be to see the connection between: Chord – Barred Chord – Chord Number – Arpeggio – Pentatonic Scale – Mode.

In the advanced routine you’ll learn how an E shaped major scale is created from the chord and the pentatonic.

This means no concept is ever left behind, the language grows, but never changes.

Master Practice Routine

The Master Routine bring all topics such as arpeggio, chord progression and modes together in a final series of self-eliminating exercises.

This approach means that you can complete your practice session incredibly quickly.

In the master scale exercises for example, you play through all major and minor modes, all positions in less than 10 minutes!
