Not sure if I will post that in the blog, haven’t decided yet. It’s chapter 20 and so far we are only on 4 in the blog.
Once the stave and scales are completely understood it really isn’t that hard, all you do is follow the scale shapes.
The key to being able to read is to learn how to write. Just like any language, most guitar players miss that part, they go straight for reading guitar solos, which is almost impossible, too much information.
I think a good goal is to be able to read a jazz standard head. Like Autumn Leaves for example.
