Just a update for info Guru i checked with L R Baggs and they said anthem will fit a big baby although they have never tried it! They advise going for the anthem sl as it is smaller and lighter and probably better suited to the BB.
-
I didn’t know there where two! It just goes under the bridge so I thought it would work on all, there you go, you can never do enough research
-
I checked them out again, it’s the same mic but now they’ve got three different ways to apply the EQ, no controls, few controls and on board full on controls.
When this option appear I always go for as little extra stuff as possible, onboard preamps is usually more trouble then it’s worth.
-
The SL will proably be best option then as only has volume control and nothing else.

Yeah I would go for this, I would never go for a built in from factory, always best to fit yourself. The big baby is a great guitar for gigging, really is.
Anthem would fit any guitar.

Thanks Guru…is this the choice of guitar you would go for if on a budget or would i be better off going for a guitar with a built in pick up?
If i go for the anthem do you know if this will fit on a big baby?
Thanks again -

I think this is a good idea but would choose Anthem for pickup.

Have had a chance to test a couple of practice amps. For the price very impressed with Fender Blues Jr. III. Can’t beat it for practice. The only version of music it is not good for is metal and if you need head room it not good clean unless played at lower volumes. Also there are modification packages which can take this amp to levels for…[Read more]

Amazing Slow Downer,
they also have Dvd slow down program which can be adjusted for pitch, for learning from people demonstrations.

I was just looking at Audacity and it has an effect called “Equalization”. You can set your own points at the differing Hz levels on a type of bar graph or you can load one of the pre-defined curves e.g. “Acoustic”, “RCA Victor 1938″ or “Columbia 78″ and more. I’ve used it for cleaning up [...]

I use Audacity on my PC, you can change the tempo of the song without changing the pitch and also loop it if that’s all you’re after. It’s also available in Mac flavour too and it’s free.
