Living in a dream world.

Years spent in a quiet room , listening to favored players, inspired to play and learn. The trap is the controlled environment, what you think, hear and do may be totally different from what actually is being produced. May this is all one wants. I thought how do I get out of this rut. Well show someone who doesn’t need to be nice to you what you have learned on the guitar, OH YES , in for a surprise. What happens next , if you can get up and live another day. I realized this requires some serious committment. I found other to play/jam with, found gigs to play in with others and as a solo. Playing straight is preferred, especially if you really want to know what you do (I was young in 70s and played great then, but don’t remember much/ what a surprise/ not really it was fun however).

Ok if you play guitar for production of sounds for presentation to others for pleasure and entertainment, this is the point of view I prefer. Remember there all kinds of aspects of learning music, in my case performance is the driving force. Not really much for the other stuff/however I know enough to talk about it.

Talk to you later .
