In 'Spytunes Blues Legacy' we take a look at the evolution of the electric guitar blues solo.

We shall see how the blues solo has developed since T-bone Walker's first attempts in the 30s.

We shall find how the style develops via the three Kings: Albert, B.B. and Freddie into the 60s and 70s with Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.

Following the psychedelic adventure of the early 70s we see SRV's take on the blues solo in the 80s and finally we meet John Mayer on this side of the millennium.

Is there a connection between all these players, spanning 80 years of blues guitar?

What has changed and more importantly, what has not?

In The Style Of Guitar Lessons

Included in the Legacy are 18 "In the style of" video lessons.

Complete with mp3 backing tracks, and full TAB, printed and as midi!

The goal for your studies with the Legacy should be to record your own version and upload it to Youtube.

If you post your version as a video response you can get feedback on your own playing.

This is essential if you want to get better.

Start your journey of improvising blues guitar by learning licks from the great pioneers of the style!
