Follow the notes on string 1, match it with a note as close as possible on string 3.
This is actually easier using modes than pentatonics, doesn’t seem to be enough notes for this concept using only pentatonics.

That’s right, beat 2 and 4.
When playing shuffle stuff it will groove more the further you hold 2 and 4 back.
