Ben Harper is an American roots musician who by recording covers of Marvin Gayes 'Sexual Heeling' and The Verve's 'The Drugs Don't Work' has stretched his appeal around the globe.

Ben Harper's first album "Welcome To The Cruel World" (94) was followed by "Fight For Your Mind" only a year later and the word of Ben Harper had begun to spread.

Often touring Europe and other non American territories Ben Harper has created a dedicated following the world over.

One of his most successful collaborations happened with 'The Blind Boys Of Alabama' with whom he recorded the seriously groovy "There Will Be A light" in 2004.
